Rocky Mountain National Park is an incredible place with beautiful views and one of our favorite places to hike (and swim if you are willing to brave the glacial lake). However, entering the park will take some planning ahead. The link provided will lead you directly to a website to plan your trip. Here are some important things to keep in mind for your planning.

The park has a timed entry reservation system. Reservations can be made 1 month in advance or at 7pm the night before (these reservations go quickly). This link will take you directly to the website with more information on timed entry permits in the park.

Alternatively, you can take the Rocky Mountain National Park Shuttle directly into the park and avoid looking for parking. This will also require a pre-purchased ticket either 1 month in advance or the night before at 7pm.
